Today, I love the moon.
Not in a poetic or romantic way, the actual hunk of rock in the sky.
There’s a teacher in our school district who took a special class that allows her to check out samples from NASA.
So, this week, she did so. She has moon rock and meteorites and such that she shows the different kids in her school.
This stuff is crazy. She checked it out and there are crazy security precautions. The samples have to be kept locked up at the police station when they aren’t in use. When they aren’t at the station, the teacher has to be with them all the time.
If anything were to happen to them, she could face some pretty serious stuff.
When looking at the samples, I felt like I was hanging out with super celebrity VIPs.
Or should I say…rock stars?
