TILT March 20, 2013

After my alarm going off before 5 a.m. For fe third day in a ow, I was exhausted.
I stayed home from bell choir. Yes, home! I arrived at home before 5 p.m. for the first time in quite some time.
I even cooked myself dinner. Sure, it was macaroni from a box and a bagged salad, but at least no part came from the microwave.

Also, I saw one of the best family costumes ever.

TILT March 1, 2013

I have welcomed March on a good note. Because it was Friday I, surprise surprise, left work early. My absolute favorite thing about my job is flexible hours. Let’s pretend I don’t hit my required 40 hours a week by Wednesday night or early Thursday morning.

So I left early and hurried on over to the west side of the state for a full weekend of the theatah.

After chit chatting with mom for a little bit, Brent and I were off to Tacoma. I haven’t really been to the residential part of Tacoma and was blown away by how awesome the houses were. We went to this little restaurant and the food was PHENOMENAL. Get into my belly more often, gorgonzola risotto.

THE BEST PART of this restuarant, though, was the lack of parking. It sounds weird, but we had to circle the block a couple times and finally found a spot in front of the nearby fire station. Walking past it showed my this fish. A dalmatian fish, it seems, with a collar that read “SPARKEE.”

Day. Made. Image

Then it was off to Tacoma Little Theatre.

We saw The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged).

It was one of the funniest things I have ever seen. I literally laughed until I cried. My stomach hurt after all the lols from the ridiculousness of what I had just seen.

Seriously, people running around in bad wigs? Vomit gags? Stupid props? Sexual innuendo? What more is there to life?

So much fun.

TILT Feb. 13, 2012

The first thing I love about today is that it’s over.

It was the worst day I’ve had in a while. Exhausted, hungry, cranky. I had to call the police on someone, not just to check on something. No one was calling me back. I wasn’t prepared for the week. Things kept falling apart.

It just wasn’t good.

Now, I know you’re not supposed to eat your feelings.

But, sometimes, you just gotta.

Breakfast came at 5:30 this morning, when I had just gotten to work. I didn’t know it was going to go downhill rapidly.

So I was eating two things I’m kinda obsessed with right now — Greek yogurt and the lemonade Vitamin Water.

I even added some fresh raspberries to the yogurt.

It was heaven.

Then, I didn’t get to have lunch until 4 p.m. So I was pretty hungry and pretty cranky. So I ate the things we had in the house I love most — tacos and potstickers. I don’t care that they don’t go together.

They were delicious.

Another thing I love today is something Padre saw and sent me. It made me laugh pretty good and I pretty much think I need one.

It’s the Smart is Sexy version of the traditional mud flap girl.
